Communication Channels, The Pensacola News Journal, and radio stations, just to name a few.

Advertising begins about 10 days prior to the Parade and runs throughout the ten-day event.

2020 PARADE OF HOMES RULES AND INFORMATION

GENERAL INFORMATION

• Parade of Homes Dates: September 12 - 20, 2020 • Weekend Times: 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. • Weekday Times: 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

• All Parade entries must be open during designated Parade times. • All Parade Homes must be staffed by a company representative or a Realtor. Home must be unlocked and

opened during parade hours. The biggest complaint we receive is that someone drove across town only to find that a home is closed during show hours. The HBA Board of Directors is serious about making sure that homes are open during show hours.

PARADE SIGNS/DIRECTIONAL SIGNS/PARADE OF HOMES PUBLICATION Builder Signs (if you ordered one), directional signs may be picked-up on WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 9TH at the Home Builders Association of West Florida office, 4400 Bayou Blvd., Ste. 45 (Cordova Square). You will be notified as to when the Parade of Homes publications are available for pick up. HOME COMPLETION DEADLINE (Friday, SEPTEMBER 4TH)

If you plan to have your home judged, the deadline to let the HBA know is SEPTEMBER 4TH. Judging will take place on Tuesday, SEPTEMBER 8TH. A complete home is one with permanent power (meter set) and absolutely no subs on site working. Judges have the authority to not judge your home if work is being conducted. For other homes not being judged, your Parade entry must be completed no later than Friday, SEPTEMBER 4TH. Failure to meet deadline may result in $500 fine. JUDGING/OUTSTANDING HOME AWARD Judging will be all day Tuesday, SEPTEMBER 8TH. We are unable to determine the time of day that your home will be judged. Please do not call the HBA office and inquire. Houses must be open or have a multi-lock. Homes can be furnished or unfurnished. Light refreshments may be served: soft drinks, coffee, tea, cookies, cake, or fruit. We ask that no one be present at the time of judging. After your home has been judged, a sign will be left behind stating, "House has been judged." For judging purposes, the home's price must be the listed "sale price of home" which includes the lot. If the listing price is different after the home has been judged the builder will not be able to participate in next year's Parade. Any awards received will be withdrawn. HOW WILL YOU BE NOTIFIED IF YOU HAVE WON Parade of Homes Award Winners will be announced at the HBA Parade Kick Off Ceremony which will be held on Thursday, SEPTEMBER 10TH at 5:30 p.m. at Sanders Beach – Corinne Jones Resource Center located at 913 South “I” Street • Pensacola, FL 32502. Food and beverages will be served. Additional information about this event will be forthcoming. TERMS: It is agreed that BALLINGER PUBLISHING may not rwaise the stated advertising rates during the period of this contract, nor may the advertiser cancel during the agreed term of this contract without a shortrate. SHORTRATE: If a cancellation must be made by the advertiser, a letter of cancellation must be received by BP 45 days prior to the printed deadline date of the next publication. Shortrate will be billed at a frequency rate according to the number of insertions in ON THE MARKET and PENSACOLA MAGAZINE the advertiser has actually accrued. In the event that litigation is initiated, the contract will be forced through the completion of contract whether or not all of the insertions were actually run. In the event that litigation is initiated, client agrees to pay all attorney fees for any and all legal action, law suits, and judgements. All camera-ready materials submitted to BP are accepted upon the express condition that the advertiser agrees to hold BP harmless from any and all claims arising out of or relating to copy, copyrights, trademarks or mistakes in ad either photographic or copy, or that the use of any name or other material in any advertisement that is illegal, unauthorized or damaging in any way to any person or name or other legal entity. Billing is due upon receipt. All contracted advertising will be billed in advance. Balances unpaid after the 30th of the month are subject to a 1 1/2% per month (18% annually) finance charge. The advertiser agrees to pay a finance charge, of 1 1/2% per month (18% annually). The advertiser agrees to pay all legal fees, court and/or collection costs on balances delinquent over 30 days.
