2021 HOME

OF THE YEAR

Any completed, owner-occupied home (primary residence or second

home) located in Colorado. All styles and sizes accepted. The project may

not have been published in Colorado Homes & Lifestyles or any of our

regional competitors prior to the contest. Each project may be entered

only once.

All entries should be submitted via email or other electronic services such

as WeTransfer or Dropbox no later than 5 p.m. MDT on Friday, April 2,

2021, to Kate Meyers at kmeyers@coloradohomesmag.com + Eleanor

Williamson at ewilliamson@coloradohomesmag.com. Please do not mail

hard-copy documents or photos; they will not be forwarded to the judges

or returned.

Entries may be submitted by homeowners, home designers, architects,

builders and interior designers. Each entry must include the homeowners’

signed release authorizing publication of the home.

Entries must include a cover letter that briefly describes the home design.

The letter should include contact information for the designer, architect

and builder. Please also include the location.

Entries should include color photos of the exterior, living/great room,

kitchen, master bedroom, master bath, dining room, and any other spaces

that make the home distinctive. Please include shots of the overall design,

as well as special details or finishes, materials, etc.

Professional photography is not required but is welcomed. Professional

photographs must have photo credits.

Award-winning entries must

be available for publication in

Colorado Homes & Lifestyles Home

of the Year issue (June/July 2021)

and may not be published in

any other publication without

written consent from Colorado

Homes & Lifestyles until after

October 31, 2021.

The winning home must be

available to a Colorado Homes &

Lifestyles photographer for one

full day. Award-winning architects,

builders, and/or designers must

be available to be interviewed by a

Colorado Homes & Lifestyles writer

or editor. Homeowner interviews

are preferred but not required.
