“Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.” Colossians 3:2
Do you put God first in all things? Possessions,
money, power, ego can easily become gods to many
of us. Do a quick check of what is important to you.
Is God at the very top of the list? If not, your priorities
need to be re-adjusted. Don’t let earthly things
become a god before God.

The Archdiocese Of Regina Lay Formation Program
"I'd love to take the course, but I want to wait until; my kids are
grown, I can slow down at work, I'm retired..."The truth is, nearly
75% of young people, even those raised in religious homes, will
leave the Church by the time they are 25 - well before many of us
retire! Some of the most common reasons given for leaving one's
faith behind include; perceived conflicts between faith and
science, a lack of evidence for the existence of God and
difficulties with some of the Church's teachings. Our sons and
daughters need mentors who are "well-trained and animated by a
sincere faith whose life has been touched by the personal and
merciful love of Jesus Christ" (Pope Francis). The Lay Formation
Program can help.
Currently accepting applications for our Fall intake. For more
information or to register, please contact our Program
Coordinator, Eric Gurash at 306-325-1651 Ext. 211 or email him

THANKS to St. Josaphat Grade 7 & 8
students who walked to Holy Trinity one
morning before Easter to help with spring
cleaning by washing walls, windows, scraping
gum from pews, repairing hymn books, tidying &
washing pews. It is amazing what 60 young
people can accomplish in one hour.
Their help has made a big difference.
They also created some beautiful Baptism cards
to welcome the newly baptized to our parish,
as well as Easter cards for shut-ins.
Current participants in Lay Formation from Holy Trinity:
Debbie Bulych, Heather Deis (office), Brenda Dupmeier
(team leader), Shelley Kreutzer, Liz Mus and Joanne
Rondeau. They would be happy to tell you about their
experience.

Thank you from your

We give praise and thanksgiving to God
for those fully initiated into the Catholic Church
at the Easter Vigil through the sacraments of
Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist:
All who received their sacraments of initiation
are now known as neophytes. The neophytes
now share with Christ, and his Body in the parish
community, the intimate communion of the
Eucharist. We, as a parish community, pledge to
help them grow and mature in the Christian life.
We welcome Jennifer Armstrong who came
into full communion with the Catholic Church
through the sacraments of Confirmation and
Eucharist at the Easter Vigil.
We also welcome Brody Danyluk and Theo Greening
baptized Easter morning.
Blessings to all!
The Life of Christ Overflows!
