For each holidays introduced, I will talk about

• Which date the holiday is on a calendar

• Why it is an important holiday or celebration

• What American people do during the holiday

• What special food people eat

I will have lots and lots of photos to describe these holidays and celebrations during my presentation.

At the beginning of the class, I will ask you:

Do American people and Chinese people share some same holidays? What are they if any?

At the end of the class, I will ask you

what is your favorite holiday in China and why.

Then I will tell you what is my favorite US holiday and why.

I will tell you what I know about Chinese holidays and the food I like for each of them.
