1) The majority of the men and women in the eighteenth century could not read or
write. So images and symbols were frequently used instead of printed words to
communicate important ideas. Therefore, identify the symbols which stand for
liberty, equality and fraternity and briefly explain the meaning of Declaration
of Rights of Man and Citizen through pictorial representation of the symbols.
POLITICAL SCIENCE( In A File)
1) Find out about any member of the constituent assembly from your state or
region. Collect a photograph or a sketch of that leader. Write a short note on
him (150-200 words) following the same style as used here:
Name( year of birth- year of death),
Place of birth( by current political boundaries),
Brief description of political activities;
Role played after becoming a member of the Constituent Assembly.
2) Compare the system of government in India and Saudi Arabia. Which of them
is better for the people and why?

1) Give a list of activities done by different workers and farmers. Numerical
problems can also be included. Some of the ways through which description of
villages are available in writings of PremChand , MN Srinivas and RK
Narayan. They may have to be referred.
GEOGRAPHY PROJECT WORK( In A File)
1. Every student has to compulsorily undertake one project on
DisasterManagement.
2. Objectives: The main objectives of giving project work on Disaster
Management to the students are to:

Create awareness in them about different disasters, their consequences
and management
Prepare them in advance to face such situations
Ensure their participation in disaster mitigation plans
Enable them to create awareness and preparedness among the
community.
3. The project work should also help in enhancing the Life Skills of the students.
4. If possible, various forms of art may be integrated in the project work.
5. In order to realize the expected objectives completely, it would be required of
the Principals / teachers to muster support from various local authorities and
organizations like the Disaster Management Authorities, Relief, Rehabilitation
and the Disaster Management Departments of the States, Office of the District
Magistrate/ Deputy Commissioners, Fire Service, Police, Civil Defense etc. in
the area where the schools are located
