Remove the Front Bumper
Tools: Flat Screwdriver7mm Socket/Spanner10mm Socket/Spanner
Remove 6 bolts retaining the lower edge of the front bumper.

Remove 2 bolts and 2 scrivets from the top of the grille.

Remove the scrivets retaining the fender liner to the bumper.
Then remove the 2 bolts retaining the bumper to the fender.
If fitted, unplug the wiring loom from the back of the foglights.
Gently pull each side of the bumper away from the vehiucle and remove the bumper.

Modify the Crash Attenuator
Tools: Flat Screwdriver10mm Socket/SpannerSharp Knife
Remove the 2 bolts and 2 scrivets retaining the crash attenuator to the bumper beam.

Trim 10mm off the depth of the back edges of the plastic crash attenuator, at both ends.

This view shows an alternate view of the area of the crash attenuator which needs to be trimmed, in order to re-fit over the top of the Nudge Bar Mounting Brackets.

Modify the Lower Grille
Tools: Flat ScrewdriverSharp Knife
Although this trimming operation can be performed without removing the grille from the bumper, it is recommended to do so, in order to avoid accidental damage to the bumper paintwork.
To remove the lower grille, gently pry the 10 clips apart with a flat bladed screwdriver.

Trim the lower grille on both sides, as shown.

Remove the Headlamps
Tools: 10mm Socket/Spanner
Remove the plastic trim from underneath each headlamp, by removing the 2 semi-concealed bolts.
Then remove each headlamp, by undoing the 4 mounting bolts, and detaching the wiring loom.

Modify the Plastic Splash Guard
Tools: 12mm Drill Bit + Power DrillTape Measure16mm Socket/Spanner17mm Socket/Spanner
Hardware: Mounting BracketsNudge Bar4x M10x30mm Hex Head Bolts4x M10x130mm Hex Head Bolts16x M10 Flat Washers8x M10 Nylock Nuts
Using the M10x30mm Hex Bolts, temporarilty (not fully tightened) fit the Mounting Brakets to the Nudge Bar.
Then fit the Nudge Bar assembly to the vehicle cross- member.Figure 5a: Temporarily Fit the Nudge Bar

Ensuring the Nudge Bar is centred on the vehicle, mark the hole positions, through the Mounting Brackets, on the top and bottom of the vehicle cross- member, then remove the assembly.
From above, drill 4 holes through the top and middle surfaces of the cross- member.
From below, drill 4 holes through the bottom surface, and continue up through the previous holes, to ensure they are all in alignment.

Re-fit the Nudge Bar assembly, and permanently fix the Mounting Brackets using the M10x130mm Hex Bolts.
Remove the Nudge Bar from the Mounting Brackets.

Re-fit the Bumper and Nudge Bar
Tools: Flat Screwdriver7mm Socket/Spanner10mm Socket/Spanner16mm Socket/Spanner17mm Socket/Spanner
Re-fit the plastic crash attenuator. Ensure it does not interfere with the Mounting Brackets (see Figure 2c).
Re-fit the headlamps.
Re-fit the bumper bar.

Re-fit the Nudge Bar, adjust to desired position, and fully tighten fasteners.
