Staff Member Profile: Cheryl GreenwoodCheryl Greenwood has been a Hodan Center staff member

since September, 2001 when she started as a Production Aide. She was promoted to Production Supervisor in 2002 and to Production Lead Supervisor in 2003. In February, 2007 Cheryl became Assistant Director for our Work Services pro-gram. She has responsibility for assuring that our in-Center subcontract work operations run smoothly for our business partners as well as for the client-employees we serve in this department.

Cheryl was born and raised in Mineral Point and graduated from Mineral Point High School. She received training as a certified nursing assistant at Southwest Voc. Tech in Fennimore. Cheryl then worked at the Mineral Point Care Center for two years and at Borg Instruments in Darlington for four years. She owned Howe’s Bar in Mineral Point for ten years. Cheryl worked as a special education aide in Mineral Point Schools for four years before being hired at Hodan Center.

Cheryl has been married to Mark Greenwood for 24 years. Mark is an inde-pendent construction contractor. Together, Cheryl and Mark have raised four children on the 160 acre Mineral Point farm that has been in the Greenwood family for 165 years. Children include Keirsten Knutson (who has three children), Kayla, Kasi, and Kolton. The Greenwoods raise beef cattle and have also helped children of neighbors and friends to raise animals for show at area fairs. During her free time, Cheryl enjoys working around the farm, raising flowers, refinish-ing furniture, and 4-wheeling around the farm. The Greenwoods have hosted three Hodan Center Fun Days on the farm over the years which have allowed our client-employees to see farm animals, ride horses, and ride on 4-wheelers.

Cheryl brings an outstanding work ethic and a big heart to Hodan Center each day. Her leadership for our Work Services program is truly appreciated, as is her kind, caring assistance she gives to each person she serves. l

Client-Employee Profile: Lydia McSherryLydia McSherry is a delightful young woman who keeps

busy working both in the community and at the Hodan Center. She lives in Dodgeville with her Mom, Kari and her Dad, Gene. She started attending Hodan Center in 2009 as a transition student. At around this same time she started doing volunteer work at the Dodgeville Public Library. Lydia proved herself to be a valuable asset to the library and was eventually offered a paid position, which she happily accepted. She is currently working there one day a week.

Lydia attends Hodan Center 2 days a week and splits her time between Work Services and the Wisconsin Innovation Kitchen. She is a hard worker who produces good quality products. All of her supervisors agree she is a joy to work with.

When she is not busy working Lydia enjoys playing video games, working on her iPad, and watching “Grey’s Anatomy” on television.

We wish Lydia continued success as she pursues additional employment in the community. She will be a great addition to any business she works for. l
