In few lines this project represents a free and philantropical product for help all people and create a safe zone, between the purposes to spead knowlwdge and based on a philosophy that internet is only a quick and efficient solution for spread verified information and secure place for all people even those who do not understand how best to use the technology without falling into traps and scams by unscrupulous and evil people.

hoax.it  in "econtent  award Italy 2009"  gained second position in category Create your Culture!  in last edition 2008 this site in prestious "econtent award italy 2008" gained  a special mention in category e-culture and other special mention in category Young talent , econtent on Creativity & Culture. 

What areas covering the project? Hoax.it  project covers a large area of topics , an

example of this advice is  helps About Hoaxes, urban legends, Verification Hoax and humanitarian appeals, Information Security, Phishing, Scams, News. This project spreading culture and providing assistance to users and providing free assistance on specific problems it helps to spread knowledge and build a better world.

Hoax is not a term easily translatable into Italian, translate Hoax in italian is stupid , would be something like "female of buffalo", but in italian this term sound like " Bufale" but the origin of term and fenomeno used in the specific filed of information tecnology is different and and takes a very broad range of meanings, a simple traslation like "BUFALE" in practice it would be wrong becouse must be translate hoax differently depending on what we are referring therefore use the word joke, joke, fake e-mail joke in bad taste, tragic deception, false calls, mail containing viruses fake, or better email using social engineering to trick and profit economically or less or in some individuals derive satisfaction from the gullibility of others. Doing so it damages the good people who rely on the Internet and really need your help!

On site you can see clearly all the items and category of site , there are many page and there are a internal search engine to help visitors to find news and facts in all article i put a warning to show clearly what is it to undestand what they are reading, If there's someting important is immediately placed in home page and distribuited newsletter and throught various channel. I prefer find facts and listen request for help and see if things asked are based on real facts or are stupid jokes, i analize it, and prefer spread humanitarian appelas and important things, phishing alert is provided, assistenace is provided to anyone for years. Search engine visit often and some university project like extrapola and some other university point search bot on my site to collect information.Hoax.it want to analyze specifically question to analyze this phenomenon, responding primarily to the Italian internet user  that have nothing to do with the English sense of humor, a joke that does much laughter in England  could leave the Italian people  impassible because the Italians have a way different way to undestand and see all underlying stylistic elements of our cultural background, for this reason it is not easy to translate into English all, why should be explained well to avoid stupid misunderstandings in conveying the message that you want to send over the Internet.

www.hoax.it is a philantropical project made by Silvio Passalacqua born in 1983 for hel all people and create a safe zone and the project is guided by a philosophy that wants to help the global community to solve the small daily problem to the PC and complex problem related to phishing, pharmig, identity fraud, and computer forensics issues. www.hoax.it is a free  global service i think that umanity and culture can mobilize all people for the importaqnt things, the umanity can be fre only spreading knowledge and build a better world giving true information , in my opinion umanity and culture can be free of abuse building a right society starting firts cooperating in a network based on human relations and strengthen the network of contacts tho help and share knowledge  and trash false things producing flooding the network and loss of time and unnecessary alarm, internet resource must be enhanced not only by enhancing the infrastructure, but spreading a proper way to do that development of good habits. Giving advice and assistance to user is in my opinion the way to elevate our society block internet chain and trash stupid hoax is a duty for mantain an efficient internet for all.
