The Pilot Hatch is a sliding hatch styled to match the Low and Medium Profile

hatches. It is designed for use on the Wheelhouse or Cockpit canopy of a power

craft.

The hatch opens up enclosed steering positions, allowing the helm and crew to

experience the sunshine and fresh air on fine days. Unlike a hatch with a hinged

lid, the handle on the Pilot Hatch never moves out of reach or requires lifting

from a difficult angle when the hatch is fully open.

The lid is moved using a single handle bar that also rotates to seal down the

hatch. When full ventilation is not required, the lid can also be secured with a

5cm opening. The Pilot Hatch uses Lewmar’s unique seal system for improved

sealing and easy servicing. The acrylic can be replaced without the use of

sealant. The sliding technology comes from Lewmar’s racing hardware track

systems, ensuring minimum friction.

The Flyscreen Hinge makes it easier to

quickly access the hatch handles when
