Since 1976 HMH has provided the public with a wide range of services from Planning, Site Design, Civil Engineering and Land Surveying. With Landscape Architecture we are now able to further expand the design process to accomplish successful projects. Our primary goal is to provide clients with innovative and creative design solutions prepared within an established schedule and budget.

HMH emphasizes a multidisciplinary team approach with our clients and other professional consultants for all phases of a project. BOWERS CORPORATE CAMPUS

The landscape concept for this multi-tower commercial office development is to create an Earth themed corporate campus. The use of sculpture and form in a sequence of landscape spaces celebrates man’s connection to the Earth. The campus features tree lined allees, topiary monuments, a sculpture garden, lookout berms, outdoor meeting rooms, private serene patios, and water elements.

Ringwood Business Center

Landscape Design and Construction Documents for an Office Condominium Project in San Jose.

Client: Borelli Investment Co.

Located in North San Jose’s International Business Park, the Ringwood Business Center consists of three buildings divided into 47 individual condominium units. This unique development is located in a highly desirable location in Silicon Valley. The landscape design includes accent pedestrian and vehicular paving, lush ornamental landscaping and decorative lighting.


Los Gatos Medical Office

Landscape Design and Construction Documents for a Medical Office Building in Los Gatos, CA

Client: Joan Oloff

The Los Gatos Medical Office is a two-story medical office building with underground parking located at 15047 Los Gatos Boulevard. The project incorporates a sophisticated streetscape design, accent pottery and colorful canopy trees. The entries to the project are enhanced with decorative paving.


Granite Rock Design Center

Landscape Design and Construction Documents for a Landscape Materials Sales Office andShowroom in Cupertino.

Client: Granite Rock

HMH worked with Graniterock to create a store front design center in Cupertino showcasing their natural stone products. Project elements included an array of colors, textures and dimensions to inspire clients and their own designs. The design included an outdoor kitchen and fireplace, a natural fountain and a private patio as focal points for the store entry.


Jewish Community Center

Landscape Design and Construction Documents for a new Jewish Community Center in Los Gatos.

Client: Dennis Kobza and Associates

The renovation and expansion of the Jewish Community Center provided a stage for the landscape design to compliment the unique architecture which features an imported Jerusalem stone facade. The landscape design incorporated the retention of existing heritage trees, a ball field, play areas, enhanced landscaped entries and a sculpture garden and patio.


Lakeville Business Park

Landscape Design and Construction Documents for multiple office buildings in Petaluma.

Client: Ellis Partners

The landscape architecture blends the existing design guidelines of the business park with contemporary architectural themes. Textured colored concrete entries, private patios and decorative lighting enhanced the theme of the site.

A showcase for outdoor furniture décor, the collaborative effort between the Architect, Owner, and Landscape Architect resulted in a building with a distinctive look and inviting atmosphere.


The Campus at McCarthy Ranch

Landscape Design And Concept Developmentfor Six Building Corporate Campus in Milpitas.

Client: Equity Office

Cutting edge design lends itself to the creation of a corporate campus with a unique atmosphere and a multitude of site amenities. The jewel of the design is a centrally located park core featuring a fountain, amphitheater, volleyball court, and meandering walkway lined with natural stone benches.

Client: Centex Homes

Home buyers lined up for a chance to live at this fantastic new community in Sunnyvale. Homes between 1,809 and 1,939 square feet with private rear yards and themed landscape elements have created a highly desired new neighborhood.


Autumn Terrace

Landscape Design and Construction Documents for 50 Single-Family Detached Homes.

Client: KB Home

This infill development project balanced the character of the existing community with the need to provide additional single family homes near downtown San Jose. Incorporating the beautiful existing trees into the open spaces gave Autumn Terrace’s residents instant gratification. It’s peaceful to walk through the central open space next to the meandering cobble creek.

This transit oriented community located within the Communications Hill Master Plan, is conveniently located adjacent to the light rail system. A generous mixture of Flats and Townhomes help to create this successful community.

Client: Warmington Homes

Located in Japantown, this project brought townhome style living to one of the area’s most unique neighborhoods. Only blocks from trendy shopping, transit (light rail) and a beautiful city park, Viridian brings downtown living back to human proportions.
