Fencing Interest Class 2017/2018 Term 1

To Parents,

To enhance your child’s interest in one of the best performing sport in Hong Kong, Fencing Sport

Academy is going to run a Fencing Interest Class taught in English. Fencing is a fun sport that benefits both

our mental and physical activity. Through the learning process, children can adopt a correct attitude in self

discipline and treating people. At the same time, Fencing can build up your child’s concentration, initiation,

physical coordination, spatial perception, right-brain thinking and creativity. Talented pupils will be

recommended by trainers for participating in the "Talented Fencing Class". Selected Students will have

chance to enter the Fencing School Team

Date: Sept 8, 15, 22, 29; Oct 13; Nov 3; Dec 1, 8; Jan 12, 19; Feb 2, 9 (Friday)

Fee: HKD$2400.00/12 lessons (including fencing gear) ($190/lesson)

Activity Time: 3:30-5:00 p.m

Grade: Upper Primary and MS students

Venue: MS 511 Cafeteria

Things to note relating to your applications:

1. Please complete and return your application form to FSA. Please note that all payments must be made by

cheques and shall be made payable to “Fencing Sport Academy” with your child’s name and class written on

the back of the cheque. (Address: Fencing Sport Academy, 1/F PO SHAU CENTER, 115 HOW MING

STREET, KWUN TONG)

2. FSA reserves the right to cancel the activity if there are not enough applicants.

3. All activities will be cancelled:

a) If Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above is hoisted at or before 7:30 a.m.; or

b) If a Red/Black Rainstorm Warning is in force at or before 7:30 a.m.; or

c) If an announcement of closure of school for kindergarten children is made by the Education Bureau at or

before 7:30 am.

Under such condition, no reschedule of activities or refund will be made.

4. If your child cannot attend the activities due to sickness or personal reasons, FSA will not re-arrange any

activities for him/her or refund any fees paid.

5. FSA reserves the right to change the time and place of the activities when necessary.

6. Places are limited and applications will be processed on a first-come-first-served basis.
