Kindergarten Orientation: Thursday, March 17th If you know someone in our community who has a kindergarten student, please let them know to register with the school and attend Kindergarten Orientation. We need volunteers to help make this day a success. Please let us know if you can help in any way. Shifts are anywhere from ten minutes to an hour. Any amount of time to welcome our new families and students if greatly appreciated. Chair/Committee Positions Have you wanted to chair a committee at Hiteon? Would you like to continue your role? Sign-ups for these volunteer opportunities will be posted this month. Take a look at the PTC bulletin board in the hallway to see what is available. We can also post this on the PTC website at http://hiteonptc.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/HITEONPTCVOLUNTEERCHAIROPPORTUNITIES-1.pdf

in case you aren’t able to make it into the school. Passport There have been a lot of requests for extra maps when it comes around to Passport time. There are extra maps located in the office with the information flyers. Along with this, be on the lookout for a flier to come home about Passport maps password protected on the PTC website. We have been given permission from the owners of The Passport Club to have this on our website as long as it is password protected. In case your child has lost their map, this is another place you can go to find the information. The PTC website is: www.hiteonptc.org. We hope you enjoy Spring Break at the end of this month. Be ready to put on your running shoes when you return and hear all about Hiteon’s largest fundraiser of the year - Fun Run!!! PTC Co-Presidents, Courtney Covington and Amy Johnson

Bingo!
Thank you everyone who attended Bingo Night on Feb. 26th. What a fun night of games and prizes. We hope that everyone
had a great time and we look forward to seeing you at Bingo next year.
Also thank you so much to all the volunteers that helped that night. We have an amazing community at Hiteon and we
certainly couldn't do events like Bingo without volunteers.
Thank you so much:

LOST & FOUND
The Lost & Found is once again overflowing with items that have been forgotten and left behind in and around our school building. If your student is missing his or her jacket, hat, lunchbox or sweater now is a perfect time to check the Lost & Found. Every effort is made to return items that are labeled with a last name to their owner(s). Please take a moment to stop by and look through the Lost & Found (or remind your student to do so) before noon on Thursday, March 17th. ALL unclaimed items will be donated to the Beaverton School District Clothes Closet for district families in need. The Lost & Found is located in the West Hall 4th/5th grade wing of the school near the doors that go out to the playground.
