How did we make our videos?

Our History teacher organised mixed groups .

We had to find out a name to identify our group.

We had to assign a role for each member of the group:

director, animators and narrator.

We mainly worked with our history book to look for the

information about the topic that we were given .

In our groups: we read ,analysed and summarised the

information using different techniques that we were taught and

that we always practise in our History classes.

We had to adapt and rewrite the information in a different style

of text: the script for the video.

We had a special class with our IT teachers Nilda

Caamaño, Karin Sebok, Lucía Lobos and Mora Jacobacci .

They taught us the CELTX program to write our scripts.

We also had 2 special classes with Mora :

In the first one,she showed us how to make a video with

“COMMON CRAFT

TECHNIQUE”.(http://www.commoncraft.com/)

Then, she taught us how to edit our videos with Imovie for

Mac and Movie Maker for PC.

Each group had to gather the pictures and images that were

used in the video. Most of them were handmade drawings.

They had to match with the content of the script.

After having practised many many times, we filmed our videos.

Some of us decided to bring our cameras, tripods and lamps

for a better shooting.

To edit our videos, we worked with our notebooks and the

Imacs at school. We corrected visual and voiceover errors and

any other problem that was detected. We also included the

music and the credits.
