Purple Rain sold more than 20 million worldwide. and spent twenty-‐four consecuIve weeks at No.1 on the US Billboard 200 chart.
• The song “LiPle Nicky” provoked those Explicit Lyrics labels.

• In order to use the symbol in print media, Warner Bros. had to provide floppy disks with a custom font.
• Because this symbol is not pronounceable, he was oQen referred to as "The ArIst Formerly Known as Prince”
• In 2000, Prince began calling himself “Prince” again.
In 2004, Prince opened the Grammy awards with Beyonce. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame the same year.
