The Middle Ages started in 800-1400 C.E.
The Middle Ages is also known as the
Mediaeval times.
This musical era consist of almost a
thousand years of music.
The Renaissance Period started in 1400-
1600 C.E.
This period in time marked the rebirth of
humanism, and the revival of cultural
achievements for their own sake in all
form of music.
The Baroque Era started in 1600-1750 C.E.
The word baroque was derived from a
Portuguese word meaning “a pearl of
irregular shape.” Baroque was initially
used to imply strangeness.
The Classical Era started in 1750-1820 C.E.
This period of music only lasted for 70
years.
The Romantic Era started in 1850-1920
C.E.
The Romantic Era was a period of great
change and emancipation. The
romantic Era was allowed to have artistic
freedom because classical music had
strict laws of balance and restraint.
Felix was born February 3, 1809 and died
November 4, 1847. He was a German
composer, pianist, organist and
conductor of the early Romantic period.
He began to compose at age 11; at 16
he wrote his first masterpiece.
Some of the early 20th century music can
be seen as extensions of the late
Romantic style, much of the 20th century
music can be seen as a rebellion.
To become a good singer you must be
able to breathe properly, sing with
power and sing on pitch. To become a
great singer you’ll need to have a
musical voice that only comes with
intense practice. Singing is fun and most
likely you will be admired if you’re a
good singer.
To be a singer: find a vocal coach, learn
your vocal range, have confidence
especially in big or little crowds, and
always warm up before singing.
To warm up your vocal cords you can
sing little riddles, sing a short song, sing la
la la going up or down a scale or sing ah
up the scale until u cant go any higher.
