WHEN DID PEOPLE FIRST START CELEBRATING HALLOWEEN?• People first started celebrating Halloween in the 1840’s

WHAT IS THE CONNECTION BETWEEN SALEM AND HALLOWEEN?• Christians over a hundred years ago accused other chritians of signing over their souls to

the devil. One day out of the year that occurs every year and was celebrated as a Christian celebration of the saints at one point but now has become a secular celebration of candy.

HOW OLD IS TOO OLD TO GO TRICK-OR-TREATING?• 18-19 is really too old for trick-or-treating, but you’re never too old for halloween.

WHY ARE BLACK AND ORANGE THE COLORS THAT ARE USED TO REPRESENT HALLOWEEN?• The color “orange” and “black” represents death back in the occult. Orange represents

the beeswax candles that lit up the burials, and black represents the cloths that were draped over the caskets.

WHAT DO PUMPKINS HAVE TO DO WITH HALLOWEEN?• Apparently years ago people believed that your souls were in your head, and being as a

pumpkin is round and kinda the shape of a head people cleaned out the pumpkins as to representing the releasing of a soul.

WHAT IS THE STORY BEHIND THE LEGEND OF JACK-O-LANTERN AND WHERE DID IT GET ITS NAME?• The legend is about an old Irish myth about a man called “Stingy Jack” that offered the

Devil to join him for a drink and didn’t want to pay for their drinks, so he convinced the Devil to take the shape of a coin so that he could by the drinks, afterwards Jack decided to keep the coin and placed it in his pocket next to a silver cross preventing the Devil from taking his original shape back.

WHO WAS THE FIRST WEREWOLF?• Lycaon was the first werewolf in myth, he was a cruel and horrible king. When the god

Zeus herd of his unforgivable acts he came down to see for himself. Lycaon did not believe that Zeus was a god and planned to test him. He was going to kill him and if Zeus lived it would show he really was a god. Zeus, being a god knew what Lycaon was up to and got furious and turned Lycaon into a wolf.
