1936- Konrad Zuse invents Z1 computer, the first freely programmable computer. 1951- First commercial computer & able to pick presidential winners. 1955- The first bank industry computer - also MICR (magnetic ink character recognition) for reading

checks.1962- The first computer game invented. 1964- The computer mouse was invented. 1971- Floppy Disk invented.1981- Microsoft was started. 1985-Microsoft begins the friendly war with Apple 1986-Gigabite is founded. 1988- About 45 million PCs are in use in the United States.

• Konrad Zuse made the first computer. he first programs were meticulously written in raw machine code, and everything was built up from there.

• The first laptop was made in1969 by Bill Moggridge.

A virus is something that can slow your computer speed down. A computer virus may corrupt or delete data on a computer.

Worms spread from computer to computer, but unlike a virus it has the capability to travel without any human action. A worm takes advantage of transport features on your system, which is what allows it to travel unaided.

A Trojan Horse, at first glance will appear to be useful software but will actually do damage once installed or run on your computer.
