  • History. -He borns in the 16 of December, 1770 in Bonn, Germany. -He died the 26 of March, 1827. -Ludwig van Beethoven was a German composer and pianist. -A crucial figure in the transition between the Classical and Romantic eras, he remains one of the most famous and influential of all composers. -His best known compositions include 9 symphonies, 5 concertos for piano, 32 piano sonatas, and 16 string quartets. He also composed other chamber music, choral works, and songs.

  • Evolution

  • Beethoven as pianist, can be considered a self-taught virtuosity, if overlooked his childhood education in Bonn. His pupil Carl Czerny said:His attitude when he played was masterful in its serenity, noble and beautiful, without the slightest grimace He attached great importance, in their teaching, the correct finger position, according to the school of Philip Emanuel Bach (son of the great Joahn Sebastian), who used to teach me. With respect to phrasing, Czerny said that Beethoven was very desirous that his disciples to acquire a perfect legato, legato being your own, as you might imagine, wonderful.
