Content DescriptionCollection of restaurant menus. Most of the restaurants are located in Seattle and the Pacific Northwestregion of the United States. Also included in the collection are travel-related menus from ships,railroads, and airplanes.

Restaurants in all styles and classes of trade are represented, from lunch counters to first-classgourmet establishments. Menus, placemats, and other graphic materials from many of the PugetSound area's most famous restaurants are in the collection. Some are illustrated with drawings andphotographs.

Among the many historical menus in the collection are those from the Space Needle Restaurant, Ivar'sAcres of Clams, the Dog House, Dan & Louis's Oyster Bar, and the Alaska and Pacific Steam ShipLines.
