hippo wants to make a wish his friends gave him some ideas...

Hippo opened his eyes.“Today i would like to make a wish” he saidHippo thought and thought and though.

But he could not think of wath to wish for.

So he got out of the river and went to see snake.

snake” said Hippo,“today i would like to make a wish.But I don´t know what to wish for.”

“Wish for Bright colors like mine,”Said snake.

Hippo closed his eyes.He saw himself with bright colors.

Hippo opened his eyes.

“i don´t think so,” he said.And went to see Monkey

monkey!” said Hippo,“Today i would like to make a wish.But i don´t know what to wish for”

Wish for a long tail like minesaid Monkey.

“Then we could swingin the trees together.”

“That´s true,” said Hippo.Hippo closed his eyes.

He saw himself swiging in the trees.

“I don´t think so,” he said And wento to see Lion.

wish for a mane just like mine” said Lion

Hippo saw himselfwith a mane like Lion´s.

“I don´t think so,” said Hippo, and went to see giraffe.

wish for a neck like mine,”said Giraffe.

“You could see the tops of the trees.”“ That´s true,” said Hippo.

Hippo saw himselfwith a long neck like Giraffe´s.

“I don´t think so” said Hippo,and went to see Elephant.

iknow!” said Elephant.“Wish for a nose just like mine.”

Hippo saw himself with a long nose.

“I dont think so,” he said,and went back to the river.

hippo closed his eyes“What are you doing?” asked Frog.

“I am wishing” said Hippo.

“Wath are you wishing for?” asked Frog...

iam wishing to stayjust as I am” said Hippoas he opened his eyes.
