Hip-hop or hip-hop is an art movement that emerged in America in the late 1960's in Latin American and African American communities of New Yorkneighborhoods like the Bronx, Queens and Brooklyn. The DJ Afrika Bambaataa highlighted the four pillars of hip hop culture: MC, DJ, breakdanceand grafiti.1 2 Other elements include beatboxing.
