Super Sunday
May 22 is our next Super Sunday! Let’s begin now to invite
friends and neighbors. This will be our typical Super Sunday
with no Bible Classes and worship starting at 10 a.m. Our
worship will be filled with singing, preaching, and taking of
the Lord’s Supper. As usual, we will take a little longer on
the Lord’s Supper. After the morning worship we will have a
meal together in the fellowship area. As soon as people are
through eating, we will begin our afternoon worship in the fellowship area.
Special M & M
May’s M &M will be the last one before the summer break.
This M & M will be a little special and different. It will not be
on Monday night, but on Saturday morning, May 21. We will
begin with breakfast at 8 a.m. This will not be donuts and
coffee; it will be a real breakfast! At 8:35 we will have a short
devotion. Beginning at 8:45 a.m. we will do some special cleanup around the
facility. We will have two main areas of ministry: working on the landscaping
and outside around the building. Cooper Wigginton will head up the outside
work. The other ministry will be cleaning windows. Scott Forsythe will head
this up. As you know, a lot of windows in the building have not been cleaned
in a long time. In the coming weeks you will be able to designate which
ministry you would like to participate in and if you are eating breakfast or
not. We plan to have child care available for those who need it and hope to
be through by 11 a.m. Phillip

Will You and Your Family be here Sunday?
WE NEED YOUR HELP FOR CHILDREN IN ROMANIA! Our Romania Mission Workers and Timisoara church members deliver medicines, eyeglasses, underwear & warm gifts for older people and Gift Bags for infants, teens and children in the villages of Giarmata, Zorani, Grosi, Homojdia and Racasdia as well as needy, hospitalized, handicapped and orphaned children in Timisoara and Lugoj.
This effort opens the door for our outreach work to teach the Gospel to the Romanian people. Thank you to all those who donate, sew, knit, and crochet to make handmade items and fill bags for this good work. We need more bags to reach people in all these places! PLEASE take a bag or two and fill it per the enclosed instructions. Thanks for your continued support of our Romania Mission Work!
