PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

Dear Brothers, Sisters and loving young friends,

Jai Shree Ram!

We are already half way thru in the year of 2019 and are looking forward to bright & sunny days, when we can

spend some fun time with our Near & Dear ones. However, so far, Mother Nature has been cold on us, and

we have yet to see the WARM & SUNNY days. We, at HOM, also try to plan summer activities and events –

OUTDOORS – so as to enjoy some quality time with our Friends & Families of the Hari Om Parivar. Like every

year, this year also, we shall ALL be getting together on June 9 at Grove # 24, Busse Woods, and enjoy the

PICNIC...Food, Games, Raffle etc etc. Hopefully, the weather co-operates and we shall have a blast!!!

Mother’s Day Luncheon – organized by the Mahila Satsang Group of HOM, held on May 8th, was a GRAND

SUCCESS! Indeed, I must congratulate the Chair Person, Manisha Garg & her team of dedicated workers who

put up a wonderful entertaining variety program to celebrate Motherhood. Renowned Singers like Indrani

Joshi, Ananya Ghosh, Padmini Rao participated. On Mother’s Day, May 12, Kids of the Hindi Class came

forward to speak, recite poems and express their love & gratitude for their Mothers. Rewati Natesan, an

accomplished Singer from Chinmaya Mission sang beautiful Bhajans & Songs, dedicated to all MOMS, in her

melodious voice. HOM Management Team also presented Beautiful Hand Fans to all the ladies in the

Congregation, as a token of Love & Honor.

As you all know, Father’s Day is coming up on June 16. Besides celebrating on Sunday, in the general

Congregation, in honor of all DADS, we shall also be organizing a gala Evening of FAMILY FUN on Sat, June

22nd in the Temple Basement Hall. I invite you all to join us for a fun-filled Evening of Entertainment and great

Food. All the Members of my Team are super excited and already planning/preparing for this Program…not to

be missed!

Building & Construction Projects in the temple are ongoing in full swing these days. Installation of the Elevator

and expansion of the Front Entrance area of the Temple is in progress, and hopefully, the project will be

completed by August, as planned. My sincere thanks to Kalsi Builders for working hard day & night, to

accomplish the job in a timely manner. My thanks also to all the Devotees for cooperating and bearing the

inconvenience caused due to construction.

The Guardian of the Temple, Mr. Ayodhia Salwan has come up with a great idea of raising funds for this huge

project – an Early start to the Annual Fundraiser – Devotees can donate a Brick for $101/- each with their Own

names/Family name/Guru’s name/Ram Naam etc that will be used in construction and hence go down in the

history of HOM. I would appeal to all to come forward and take advantage of this golden opportunity! Several

people have already donated generously, and the doors are still open!!!

As always, it is my appeal to all the Devotees, to attend the Weekly congregations & Special programs in a

timely manner and seek His Blessings. Also, please share your views, suggestions and feedback for the

progress and growth of the Temple. I along with my Team of dedicated members, would like to serve the

Community in the best possible way…with YOUR Continued Support & Cooperation!!!
