Our promise to you...
► Expertly-designed new homes
► Dedicated customer care line number
► Two-year Persimmon defect cover
► 10-year NHBC (or equivalent) warranty
► Landscaping schemes to enhance your surroundings
Founded in 1972, we build approximately 15,000 new homes a year in superb locations throughout the UK, but we never forget that you’re looking for one very special home: yours.
Let’s face it, everyone is different. We all have our own idea about what makes an ideal home. At Persimmon we create a wide choice of houses and apartments; that way, you’re sure to find something that’s right up your street.
The perfect environment
Naturally, you’re looking for a home that’s been developed in harmony with the local environment. We explore the local architecture, so if a development is close to a period property or buildings with local character; we ensure our home designs take inspiration from their surroundings. We also incorporate local landmarks such as trees and lakes, and plant new trees to create beautiful landscaping schemes.
Our pledge to you
Every Persimmon home is built to the high-est standards. That way we can be sure you’ll fall in love with your new home from the day you move in. At Persimmon we offer you something unique and special - it’s called our Persimmon Pledge and it’s your guarantee that your home is built to the most exacting of standards. We carry out a comprehensive 24-point check on each new home to ensure everything’s just right. From the foundations to the plumbing - we go through everything to give it our own stamp of approval.
Our absolute commitment to customer care means we’ll support you every step of the way. During your settling in period, and within a few days of moving into your home, your site manager will visit you and answer any questions you may have. You’ll also receive a dedicated customer care line number for any issues or questions you may have, along with an invitation to our weekly construction clinic for all new homeowners.
Customer excellence at every step
For added peace of mind, we provide a full emergency cover line number in the event of a service supply failure such as gas, electricity or water. And remember, every new Persimmon home comes complete with our two-year defect cover and a full 10-year National House-Building Council (or equivalent) warranty.

Enjoy easy energyLiving at Hill Barton Vale means you’ll be able to benefit from the development’s state-of-the-art district heating system.
In its simplest terms a district heating system is like a shared local boiler supplying the whole development. You’ll still get your heating and hot water on demand and pay for what you use but you’ll be using a more sustainable, lower carbon and community-minded energy system. You also won’t have to worry about boiler maintenance or servicing – it’s all taken care of.
How does it work?
E.ON produces your heat in a local energy centre and pipes it to everyone who lives on the development. It goes through a Heat Interface Unit (HIU) in your home, producing heat for hot water, radiators and underfloor heating (if installed). The HIU replaces a gas boiler and is simple to operate. It’s as easy as setting a programmer with times for your heat and hot water (if you have a cylinder) to come on when you want.
Just pay for what you use...
A heat meter is fitted into your home that will show you the units you’ve used. The meter readings are automatically sent to E.ON meaning meter reading is a thing of the past, and you’ll get accurate bills and just pay for the heat you’ve used.
To find out more:
Call E.On’s dedicated Customer Service Team on 0345 302 4312 or visit heat.eonenergy.com
With E.On’s new heating system you’ll enjoy...
+ lower carbon emissions than with gas, oil or electricity, and on some developments heating from renewable fuels
+ no-hassle servicing and maintenance – it’s all taken care of
+ E.On’s price promise guarantees it won’t cost more than heat alternatives and prices are fixed for a year
+ specialist support, available 24/7, 365 days in emergencies
+ remote meter readings, so you don’t need to read your meter.
Why buying new is best…The benefits of buying a new-build home have never been more important. Saving you money, time and effort, whilst being kinder to the environment, means it’s a win-win all round.
According to recent research by the NHBC, those who live in new build homes built to today’s standards could save more than £1,400 a year on their energy bills when compared to neighbours in older homes.* This means families could save approximately £35,000 over the lifetime of a 25-year mortgage.
Space4 are one of the UK’s leading producers of precision engineered construction systems. Many Persimmon homes are built with Space4 timber frame technology, which offers improved insulation and air-tightness. For you this means a reduction of 50% in heating costs compared to the average home in the UK**, plus you’ll own a cosier, more comfortable home.
On the outside, your Space4 home will feature the familiar design of a Persimmon home which uses traditional materials such as brick, stone or render. Underneath, the hi-tech timber frame backbone creates new levels of efficiency and building rigidity. Your property will be durable and finished to an excellent standard.
50% lower energy bills
High-performance insulation together with Space4 construction, an efficient boiler, and attention to air tightness and ventilation during the construction process means that our homes can use 59% less gas than the average home in the UK**.
The use of Space4 technology creates a better place to live and work. Lower consumption of heating fuels and transport helps reduce CO2 emissions, while the use of sustainable, recyclable materials creates less impact on the wider environment. The overall carbon dioxide emissions for timber construction (the embodied carbon dioxide) are up to six times lower than for masonry**.
And, in relation to the Government’s code for sustainable homes, most building elements with timber specifications largely fall into the ‘A+’ or ‘A’ rated categories compared to masonry***.
Average energy bill of £1,200
