memphis revival

Memphis was a group of designers, active in the ‘80’s. The typical Memphis style is known for being bold, a kitsch, combinations of primary and pastel colours and the usage of precious materials and stones. As seen @ Hay, Moustache, La Chance, Scholten & Baijings, Formafantasma, Disegno

Circus

Furniture and installations that reminded us of circus, shows and funfairs. With black and white surreal patterns, statement fixtures and coloured lighting As seen @ Jaime Hayon, Maarten Baas, Swatch, Tokyo Designers Week, De Vorm, Triennale

stacking

We found stacked items EVERYWHERE. Stacking is used as a very functional thing; to save space when you want to put it away. But it is also used to customize and combine over and over again, to play with as grown-up toys or as a decorative ‘tribal’ element to create miniature totempoles. As seen @ Vij5, Ventura Lambrate, Rossana Orlandi, La Chance, Design Academy, HAY, Rosenthal
