Two of 20th century’s greatest minds. Albert Einstein created the theory of relativity, a tool to explore and predict the way the universe works. Stephen Hawking built on this work with theories on the Big Bang and Black Holes.

This documentary explores how, for over 100 years, scientists have tried to marry general relativity and quantum theory together. Using interviews and recordings of Einstein and Hawking, both scientists are brought back to life – creating new discussions, disagreements and insights into their lives.

“Wales: Land Of The Wild” tells the story of the country’s wildlife across 12 dramatic months. Each episode will take its cue from the season and will tell the stories most associated with that time of year: birth and regeneration in Spring, growing up and forging a new life in Summer, preparing for change in Autumn and surviving the harshest time of year in Winter.

We’ll follow some of Wales most iconic and charismatic animals – from red kites to grey seals – across the year, and in doing so we’ll come to know and understand the dynamic forces that influence wildlife in this beautiful country.

Inspired by the pop-up restaurant set up in Tokyo that was entirely staffed by people with dementia, the series created a super-sized version of this restaurant in Bristol – the first of its kind in the UK. The experiment was led by Michelin-starred restaurateur, Josh Eggleton, and dementia expert, Dr Zoe Wyrko. It will follow 14 adults, who are all living with different forms of dementia, while they run their own pop-up restaurant in

the centre of Bristol. All volunteers received kitchen and front of house training, the aim is to show that by adapting the workplace and having a flexible approach to work, those living with dementia can remain in the workforce and could experience improvements in their physical, social and emotional wellbeing.

The third season of “The Most Dangerous Ways To School” accompanies schoolchildren in the dangerous swamps of Colombia, where the temperature is already 34 degrees Celsius in the morning. From there we travel to the Philippines, where children risk their lives, in order to make it past a steep face of rock and boulders, overgrown with moss and tree roots. And in Bolivia, students cross a deep valley, entrusting their lives on a rusty iron pulley and a worn plastic bag. Like before, the series also dives deep into these various cultures.
