    1st 3rd JULY, BALATONFRED, LAKE BALATON, BLUE RIBBON REGATTA The Kkszalag contest has the oldest tradition among the regattas around Lake Balaton, the rst contest

    having been organized in 1934. The 160 km route is the following: Balatonfred Balatonkenese Tihany Keszthely Balatonfred. 300 to 350 boats participate in the contest with 1400 to 1700 sailors.The boats will approach the start line directly in front of the viewers.
