All Girls

• Free to learn without judgments from boys• Health and wellness/ women’s issues• Girl bonding time • You still have a chance to meet guys at dances (at

BC High, Xaverian, Catholic Memorial, etc.) and other events!

Class Months

• Each class is assigned a month– Compete against other homerooms in fun

competitions– Dress down day– Lunch as a class– Cake

The Fine Arts

• Drama: The Good Fountain Players put on two productions each year– A fall play– A spring musical

SPORTS

FBA has many different sports including:

Fall: Soccer, cross country, swim team, cheerleading, and volleyball

Winter: Hockey, basketball, and indoor track

Spring: Softball, Track and Field, Lacrosse, Golf, and Tennis

Peer Mentors are Here to Help

• Peer Mentors are in every freshwomen homeroom to help with:– Lockers– Schedules– Teachers– Finding classes– Just saying “Hi” in the halls– And anything else that will make adjusting to

high school easier

Guidance

• Grade 9 – Taught by Peer Educators

• Grade 10 – Personality, careers, and the PSATs

• Grade 11 – Exploring Colleges and the SATs

• Grade 12 – Admission Packets

Schedule

• A-H 8 day cycle – each day is different

• 7 periods each day

• Unscheduled time – Support centers (ASC)/ Library

Spirit Day

• The Wednesday before Thanksgiving• Each grade gets a color and two articles of

clothing• Each grade decorates their section of the

auditorium• Breakfast at school• Watch skits, songs, dances, and other

performances• VERY LOUD and CRAZY!

• Virtual High School

• Hundreds of classes available online

• Choose whatever class you are interested in and take it as if it were a normal FBA course
