Push-Pull Self-Latching Connection System

Drawing Specification

Engaging

The self-latching system allows the

connector to be mated by simply pushing

the plug into the receptacle.

Latched

Once firmly latched, connection cannot be

broken by pulling on the cable or any other

component part other than the outer release

sleeve.

Disengaging

When required, the connector is disengaged

by a single axial pull on the outer release

sleeve. This first disengage the latches and

then withdraws the plug from the socket.

1. Put the wire through bend relief①, collet nut②,and collet in order and then solder it to

insulator⑤.

2. Install the two pieces of retaining ring④ onto wire-soldered insulator⑤, pay attention that

the window of retaining ring should correspond with the protrusion of the insulator ⑤

3. Install the wires into collet③ in a correct position, pay attention that the channel of collet

should correspond with insulator protrusion.

4. Push insulator⑤, retaining ring④ and collet ③ into the plug assembly⑥, pay attention that

the protrusion of retaining ring should cope with channel inner plug.

5. Tighten the collet nut② onto plug assembly⑥.

6. Wear bend relief① on the step of collet nut.

Plug of S series connector

1. Get the cable through collet nut① collet②and split insert carrier③ in order, then solder it to

the insulator subassy④ orderly.

2. Slide the split insert carrier③ to the insulator subassy④, make sure the heave of split insert

carrier③ mate with the slot of insulator subassy④, then push collet② to the right position

of cable.

3. Push the assembled collet②split insert carrier③ and insulator subassy④ into the outer

shell⑤.

4. Screw collet nut① into the outer shell⑤ tightly.

Plug of K series connector

1. Get the cable through sleeve① collet nut② collet③ flexible gasket④and earthing cone⑤

in order, then solder it to the corresponding contacts of insulator subassy⑦ orderly.

2. Put the split insert carrier⑥ onto the insulator subassy⑦, make sure the heave of split

insert carrier⑥ mate with the slot of insulator subassy⑦, then push the earthing cone⑤

flexible gasket④collet③ to the right position, assure the full sheath of cable insert the

earthing cone⑤.

3. Slide the assembled insulator subassy⑦ into the outer shell⑧, make sure the slot of split

insert carrier⑥ mate with the heave of outer shell⑧.

4. Screw the collet nut② to the outer shell⑧ tightly.

5. Put the sleeve① to the collet nut②.
