In conclusionWe all need to keep in mind:• Value of statistics in upstream AND downstream

policy processes; and for more effective aid• NSDSs can provide a vision and action plan for

better statistics and capacity building; and a framework for coordination between producers of statistics and between donors

• Need for and returns from investing in statistics• Need for more support from cooperating

partners within the context of NSDSs
