Dalet Brio is an innovative and cost-effective platform offering broad-casters non-proprietary hardware to digitize and playback their content, either as a complement to or replacement of their existing video servers. Built on an IT-based input and output video platform, it seamlessly inte-grates with Dalet solutions to provide a highly flexible and scalable end-to-end workflow. Dalet Brio units are designed to ingest and playout broadcast quality video in SD, HD and UHD formats. They come in a variety of input / output or local /central storage combinations. Each unit is built on robust IT equipment andoffers outstanding redundancy.

Dalet Brio video servers are designed to ingest and playout broadcast quality video in SD, HD and UHD formats.The next generation Brio3 platform is available with a variety of I/O options (up to 12 physical channels), storage combinations (local or direct connection to SAN). Dalet MultiCam Manager boasts advanced multicamera management for live events and pre-recorded shows with exceptional integration into post. Featuring an intui-tive user interface to easily and quickly record multiple feeds, view content and automate transfers, with Dalet Multicam Manager, users can control an unlimited num-ber of cameras. Start and stop recordings, trigger backup transfers and monitor jobs with live streams all from a single user interface.

Dalet Brio3 combined with Dalet Media Navigator module forms a cost effective and flexible solution for studio ingest and playout. Dalet MediaNavigator controls up to 8 Dalet Brio ports for both playlist and manual playout in any supportedformat back-to-back, as well as time delay and loop. An intuitive control panel enables VTR-like control including jog/shuttle and T-bar for slow motion.

Dalet Events Logger and Dalet Hilites Espresso applications are the perfect combination to log live games and events, and create highlights for magazines and sports show production. Tightly connected to these applications, Dalet Brio controls video ingest, preview, and live playout.

In order to ensure broad interoperability, industry-standard wrappers such as Quicktime & MXF are supported, allowing seamless workflow integration with third-party NLEs and Dalet production tools. Dalet Brio can play any supported files, including a mix of SD, HD and UHD on the same timeline, back-to-back with dynamic cross-, up- and down-conversion of the video signal, as well as aspect ratio modifications.
