Convention Video Recording is secured and we’re working on creating DVD which will be given to all registered families along with Souvenir. Mr.Nagaraja Maheswarappa, Mr. Raju Alagawadi and Mr. Shanthraj Hanchur receives special mention and applaud from VSNA and it’s members for their excellent photographs of the event.

11. Maker’s Mint Book Distribution: We do have copies of book published by VSNA as part of Jnaana Project which will be given all families of our chapter during Volunteer appreciation event free of charge.

12. Expense Reimbursements: We urge all volunteers and committee chairs to claim all expenses paid

by them towards VSNA Convention 2011 activities before August 15th 2011. Please note that your attention and immediate action regarding this matter is appreciated as we need to close convention financial matters soon.

13. Convention Financial Report: We’re working on paying all convention bills and create financial

report. As it becomes available based on the approval of VSNA BOD we will share with all of you.

Please refer to following note from VSNA Treasurer

Dear Mr. Basavaraj, At some time in the future, we will request you to provide us a financial statement to Central VSNA regarding the income and expenses related to the Convention 2011. Please keep track of all the revenues and expenses so that you can provide one by the end of September 2011. This will be approximately 60 days after the convention is over. We realize that there are expenses during and after convention. We believe 2 months is sufficient time to clear all the accounts to the vendors and the statement will be more meaningful. Last year Toronto provided one around October after their accountant verified the same. BOD will decide whether it will publish or not. 14. New England Chapter Registration/Tax Exempt Status and Event Insurance: As a part of

Convention activity New England chapter is registered and it is exempt from all state & local taxes. Please use tax exempt # when making any purchase of the Chapter. Also note that Event Insurance has been secured for 1 year from now (Till July 2012) which can be used for any of New England Chapter event coverage. Please take Advantage of this.

15. Mementos/Medals for Cultural Co-Ordinator and Donors

As a token of appreciation for your support to VSNA Convention 2011 & IBC we had every intention to bring all Committee Chairs, Cultural Co-Ordinator and Donors (1k$ & above) on stage but due to insufficient time we couldn’t give them on stage. On Monday 7/4/2011 who ever I could I have given the Mementos personally. My self and Shivu P Basavaiah have many more mementos/Medals left with us. If you are Committee Chair or Cultural Co-Ordinator or Donor and have not received Memento yet please let us know. If you or your children participated in competitions or cultural programs and have not received Medal yet please let us know. We will arrange for the delivery of these memento/medals.

16. Lost and Found If you have any items lost please do let us know so that we can let you know if we have your item in our found box. I have several shirt/pant/t-shirt/electronics etc. If you have found any item during convention please do let us know we will connect with Members who lost them so that they can get the items from you.

17. Volunteer and Participation Certificate for Youths. If your children participated in volunteering to VSNA Convention or participated in programs and if you need the certificate for the same please do let us know with your children name, programs participated and Number of Hours volunteered. We will send the certificate and letter of appreciation.
