To Prepare:• Print off the turkey on this page onto cardstock, cut out and laminate. • Print off the number of pumpkins you desire (either in color or black and white) onto card stock, cut out and

laminate.• Place in a pocket chart or on a workspace such as a table top or floor.

Game Suggestions:• Practice numbers or number words on the pumpkins as provided.• Practice letter names and/or sounds on the pumpkins as provided.• Practice reading color words on the pumpkins as provided.• Write sight words on pumpkins.• Write word family words on pumpkins.

To Play: (for 2 players) • Player one hides his eyes while player two hides the turkey behind one

of the pumpkins.• Player one opens his eyes and listens to clues from player one as to

where the turkey is hiding to help him find the turkey.• For example, if you use numbers on the pumpkins, you could name numbers that

come before or after the number or say ___+___ equals this number. If you use words, you can give clues, like “The turkey is hiding behind a word that has four letters”, etc. Clues should be simple for younger children and harder for older.
