Hi Guys, Thanks again for attending the seminar. I learned a lot and hope you did too. We covered ALOT of ground in a very short time. The key now is for you to practice.... unfortunately, none of us use Expedition on a daily or even weekly basis (unless you are racing in an around the world race) so even the best of us get a bit stumped at times.... but the more you practice.. the better you will be. Remember... keep it simple... make your priorities of what you want Expedition to do and concentrate on those first... don't get sidetracked with all the bells and whistles!!! Keep it simple.. just like your polar! One thing I do every time I get on a boat before a race is to do a "pre flight" check of the Expedition settings (and the instrument cals). The Expedition preflight check consists of scrolling through all the Settings tabs and double checking everything is configured to my liking based on the type of race we are doing, etc. I have saved screen shots of all the settings pages with my notes. Take a look at these and you'll get an idea of how I do my "pre-flight" and considerations for how you might want to do yours.Pre And don't forget to check out the Q&A files that were saved… especially the one on the second session where Nick White and Artie Means were answering questions sagely and swiftly.... lots of great information there in tidbit form!
