ATTENTION OPEN ENROLLED STUDENTS: Are you planning to attend Heritage again next year? 2021-2022
Intent to Renew Open Enrollment forms are now due. If you haven’t already submitted your form, click this link to
the Open Enrollment page on the LPS website and scroll down to the Checklist/Forms section or click one of the
links here:

Please email your completed Intent to Renew form to HHS receptionist, Jonna Hughes, at [email protected] as
soon as possible to ensure your spot at Heritage next year!
ATHLETICS UPDATES:
❖ Season B Registration will close on Friday, January 15. Please make sure you are registered through the
Heritage Athletics website and that you have a current physical on file with the Athletics Office.
❖ Attention Seniors: National Signing Day (NSD) is quickly approaching (Wednesday, February 3). If you have
committed to play collegiately and want to be a part of NSD, the following information needs to be emailed
to [email protected] no later than Friday, January 15:
➢ The name of the university/college you will be attending as well as the sport you will be
participating in.
➢ Proof from the university/college that you will be attending.
➢ An action shot of you playing the sport you have signed for.

BOYS BASKETBALL TRYOUTS:
● Tryouts will be on Monday, January 18. (No School Day) Time TBD.
● Please check the HHS Basketball website at hhsboysbasketball.com for up-to-date information on open
gyms and tryouts.
● Parents, if you wish to get emails regarding basketball and updates please email [email protected] to
get added to our distribution list.
● We are in need of student managers for the varsity season. Contact Coach Byleveld at
[email protected] if you are interested.
● We are also in need of students who are interested in working the clock/book for HOME games for
freshmen/sophomores. Pay is $10 per game and you must attend all HOME games. Contact Coach Byleveld
at [email protected] for more information.

Schedule Correction Deadline
ATTENTION SENIORS: Mid-year transcripts will be automatically sent to all colleges/universities that you have
applied to by the Common App and sent an initial transcript. Please complete the online transcript request form if
you have other, non-Common App colleges/universities that need a mid-year transcript sent in order to facilitate
the admissions process. Please put “mid-year” in the due date. There is no charge for the mid-year transcript if an
initial transcript has been sent and you have already paid the $5 transcript fee. If you have any questions please

NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY NEWS:
❖ Tutoring: FREE NHS tutoring is available for all students while we are remote! In order to sign up use this
Google Form. Once your submission has been completed, students will receive an email from a staff member
giving them the Google Meet link to join so they can receive academic support. Come get academic help
from your fellow Eagles!
❖ Spring NHS Applications: We are excited to announce that students who missed the deadline to apply for
NHS last fall have a second opportunity. This is the first time ever a spring application has been offered
for NHS. If you are a junior/senior with a cumulative 3.5+ GPA and missed the application deadline in the
fall, please check your email for information from Mrs. Wade regarding the application process.
VALENTINE'S DAY CANDY SALE:The HHS Academic Booster Club is selling See's candy! It is a virtual sale, so
you can buy some for your friends and family in- or out-of-state to send them well wishes this Valentine's Day! Let
them know they are loved even though it is difficult to be together. We are selling small boxes starting at $8 plus
shipping (just the right size for those friends you haven't seen enough in months) and large boxes for your
relatives in another state....or all for YOU because you need it! There is peanut brittle, mixed chocolate, heart
shaped boxes and more! All proceeds will be used for MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS for HHS senior honor students.

SAVE THE DATE: Please plan to join the Heritage PTO and Accountability Committee for a virtual joint meeting
featuring LPS Superintendent Brian Ewert on Tuesday, January 12, at 6:00 pm. This will be a great opportunity to
hear firsthand about Littleton Public Schools activities and initiatives and ask any questions you might have of both
the Superintendent and the principal. Time-permitting, the PTO and HAC will also provide general updates. Please

STUDENT OF THE MONTH RECOGNITION Heritage High School has an academic recognition program called Student of the Month. Teachers and counselors representing each department select students of the month based on academic achievement and performance in the classroom and or the school. During the 2020-21 school year, since we cannot meet in person to celebrate these students, videos will be posted to the Student of the Month Recognition page on the Heritage website. Because of our LPS community, we had an incredibly successful Colorado Gives Day, raising over $80,000 for LPS schools in 24 hours.
With you by our side, the LPS Foundation will continue to:
● Serve students and families in need by providing internet connectivity and food security
● Provide mental health resources for students who are struggling ● Enhance the educational experiences for all the students in LPS
schools and the TOPS program
