When Dickens was younger he and his family were fed well but did not pay for the food, they were basically stealing. When the people came to collect money they knocked on the door, dickens and his family did not answer.

When Dickens was younger he brought the Christmas spirit to all the Victorians, as he wrote the Christmas carol and read lots of Christmas books. H e loved walks with his dad.

I think Charles Dickens is a hero because he bought the Christmas spirit to every one and I love Christmas.
