Here are three things you can do while you’re here:

HISKids PATHFINDERS (for infants through age three) meets today in the Nursery.

HISKids VOYAGERS, ADVENTURERS, & TRAILBLAZERS (for preschool through grade six) meet weekly September through May, except the first Sunday of each month, when every generation worships together.

REFUGE & CONFIRMATION (grades 7-12) gather weekly on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. September through May. Visit gracepeople.church/refuge for upcoming events.

Give online at gracepeople.church/give. Giving online is a convenient way to give, designate your gifts and set up recurring gifts.

Help yourself to free coffee and cookies in the Commons.

Stop by the big Orange Wall for a free gift! You’ll also find answers to any of your questions and other resources about our church family.

Check or cash can be placed in the offering basket as it passes during the designated time in the service. Make checks out to Community of Grace or CGLC.

2017 VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

You are loved and welcomed in this place. Our love for you isn’t based on what you’ve done in the past or where you’ve been that brought you here today. Jesus’ love isn’t conditional either.

You are safe here. Take a breath and look around you. We may appear like we have it all together, but we struggle in some of the same areas as you. We are a community of grace, mostly because we all need a little grace and peace in our lives. Grace is here because Jesus is here.

July 1: Pastor Mike Bradley, President of the Alliance of Renewal Churches (former President of the Master’s Institute)

Mike Bradley serves as Director for The Alliance of Renewal Churches (ARC) network, an international network of Christian leaders and congregations. Mike also served as the President for The Master’s Institute Seminary and is a pastor in Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ (LCMC). He and his wife of forty years, Debi, have five children and three grandsons. They live in Gilbert, Arizona.

Income for both our general budget and our missions budget is significantly behind pace for the year. This trend has been taking place all year and is not tied to our current senior pastor vacancy. We will be providing a weekly update on giving so the congregation is fully aware of how income is tracking throughout the year. The numbers below represent our total income received through May. Thank you for your support s we live into our mission to be and make disciples of Jesus.

VOLUNTEER! at Vacation Bible SchoolYou can make a difference in a child’s life JUNE 25-29! You can lead a preschool or sixth grade group; lead or assist with games; or lead or assist at the imagination station. Can’t be here June 25-29? Help decorate on Saturday, June 23. Sign up online at gracepeople.church or on the boards in the Commons.

Summer Camp For Adults at Mount CarmelAugust 27-30 is camp for grown ups. They will take care of all the cooking, dishes, and cleaning. You can just sit back and relax, enjoy, and grow! The topic is The Story of God’s Salvation in Luke-Acts. See Pastor Angie for more details.

Growth GroupsThere’s a place for you to follow Jesus in a circle with others. Look for more information later this fall about the October 7 Connection Event.
