Direction 2035 LRTP Goals
Goal 1: Improve the existing transportation network through the use of comprehensive planning efforts that address a multimodal system
Goal 2: Increase and promote an effective and efficient transportation network that is modally integrated
Goal 3: Promote and fund a transportation network that will have a positive economic and social impact on the HEPMPO region
Goal 4: Continue to minimize cost and continue to seek alternative funding sources for an effective transportation network and increase the use of smart growth practices
Goal 5: Minimize undesirable impacts of the transportation network on the environment
Goal 6: Coordinate transportation efforts into a unified transportation network that will efficiently serve the region and support emergency preparedness and evacuation planning
Goal 7: Promote a safe and secure public transportation network in the HEPMPO region
