Definition

“An inflammatory condition of the liver, characterized by discomfort, jaundice, and enlargement of the organ and bacterial, viral, or immunological in origin; may also result from use of alcohol and other toxic drugs.” (Adler Richard 2010)

Symptoms

The symptoms are “Jaundice, liver enlargement, discomfort, fatigue, low-grade fever, nausea, weight loss.” (Adler Richard 2010)

How you get it

“Bacterial or viral infection, immunological disorder, abuse of alcohol and other toxic drugs.” (Adler Richard 2010)

How to prevent it

You can prevent it by condoms and awareness.

How to Treat it

What do you know about your assigned STD and about STDs in general?

The STD I was assigned is Hepatitis A & B. I really don’t know anything about it. STDs are usually sexually transmitted diseases. Some diseases are HIV, AIDS, Gonorrhea and Genital Herpes. Others that are aren’t really know are yeast infections and crabs.
