his Christmas season for us wille filled with family dinners,

wrapping presents and Christmasarols sung wildly out of tune; yetor hundreds of thousands ofongolese people, the focus thishristmas season will be simply

rying to survive.Weve never had to spend theolidays searching for a place toeep or worrying about how to

eed our families; yet in the Congo,s of September 26th of this year,

over 319,000 Congolese peoplehave been displaced due toconflict.For most of these men and womenthis Christmas, peace is somethingthey desire more than anything; anopportunity to return home andattempt to rebuild what they havelost.It is for reasons like these that ourhearts break for the Congolesepeople and why Mission Aviation

F e l l o w s h i p p a r t n e r s w ithousands of organizat ioworking to provide food, watshelter, medical care, and opportunity for these men awomen to start over. MAF been in Africa for over 50 yeh e l p i n g t o m a k e adifference in the lives ofmillions. We areexcited to be a partof the healing that istaking place in theCongo.
