H elton Industries is one of the largest manufacturers of overhead

door hardware and accessories in North America. With

over 250,000 sqft. of manufacturing, warehouse and distribution

space, we process over 3 mill ion pounds of steel monthly.

We supply complete residential and commercial hardware systems. We

also manufacture a full l ine of window frames and decorative inserts for

most overhead door sections available in North America. In addition,

we supply springs, tubes, operators and a complete product line for all

your garage door hardware and accessories needs.

Helton also has extensive experience in providing custom hardware

solutions. Engineering teams use sophisticated software to design

unique components and profiles according to customer requirements.

3-D solid modeling allows customers to view the design and make

adjustments prior to fabrication of tooling. Our in-house tool and die

shop builds tooling to the finest specifications. For advanced design

We offer bulk hardware and pre-packaged hardware boxes in a wide variety

of configurations. Our packaged hardware boxes cover most standard

applications. Helton also packages custom boxes with parts specified by

our customers.

Components are manufactured with rounded corners which results in a

safe and professional installation. Gussets add strength and stiffness to

2. Is the DURA-HEM track just as strong as Conventional track?By using the gauge equivalency chart above combined with the Helton’s forward mounted back-hang slots, DURA-HEM track is stiffer than equivalent conventional track and provides similar rollout and twist resistance.

3. What is the heaviest DURA-HEM gauge? .075” is the heaviest gauge we can manufacture. 3” track cannot be manufactured in DURA-HEM.

H elton manufactures a broad range of springs for the overhead door

industry using state-of-the-art spring manufacturing equipment.

We stock a full range of wire sizes in galvanized hard drawn wire and

oil-tempered wire, and we produce spring inside diameters ranging from

1-3/4” through 6” to cover all of your residential and commercial spring

applications.

Our galvanized springs provide inherent corrosion resistance and a clean

appearance that coordinates with our family of galvanized steel hardware

products. Several sizes of coned springs are stocked for shorter lead times.

Polymer-coated oil-tempered springs are also available and provide

another clean alternative to standard oil-tempered springs. Oil-tempered

spring snakes up to 16’ long are also available with polymer coating.

Spring dimensions and winding stripes are stencilled on all galvanized and

coated oil-tempered coned springs, and custom stencill ing is available

upon request. All Helton springs are color-coded per DASMA standards.

We stock a wide variety of coned springs and spring snakes for fast delivery.
