GENERAL INFORMATIONACTIVATE YOUR DEBIT CARDIf you have a Northstar debit card, it will no longer be active after October 9, 2017. Follow the activation instructions being mailed to you with your new Independent Bank debit card. Begin using your new Independent Bank debit card on October 10, 2017.

UPDATE ROUTING NUMBERUnless you were previously notified, your account number(s) will not change. However, Northstar’s routing number will change to Independent Bank’s routing number: 111916326. Please notify all external providers of the new routing number, i.e. ACH, Direct Deposit, Reimbursements, Financial Management Software, etc.

ENROLL IN TELEPHONE BANKINGIf you use Telephone Banking, beginning October 10, 2017 call 800.397.6120, and follow the prompts to re-establish your Telephone Banking credentials.

ORDER CHECKSExisting Northstar Bank checks and deposit slips will be honored through June 1, 2018. For detailed ordering instructions, please review page 2 of the Welcome and FAQ packet included in the Conversion Kit mailing.

RE-ENTER ANY ACCOUNT OR DATE ALERTSAny account, security, transactional or date alerts you have set up will NOT be automatically transferred to the new system. You will need to re-enter them on or after October 10, 2017 in the new system.

ONLINE BANKING INFORMATIONYour new Online Banking platform offers secure, easy-to-use solutions to make banking transactions convenient and seamless. See below for additional information that is more specific to Online Banking customers.

ONLINE BANKING BROWSER AND USER PROFILE UPDATESIn preparation for your successful access of Online Banking, each user must have a current direct phone number, physical address and email on file. Please call us at 800.460.6634 to verify our records are up-to-date. You must also have a current Internet browser. Compatible browsers include Google Chrome 37 and later, Microsoft Internet Explorer 11.X, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox 33 and later, or Safari 6-10.

REDIRECT FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT SOFTWAREIf you use financial management software (like Quicken) in conjunction with Online Banking, remember to redirect your software to the Independent Bank Group connection.

PRINT YOUR BILL PAYEE LISTWhile all payees will transfer and should require no action on your part, we recommend you print your payee list prior to October 6, 2017 as a precaution.

LOG IN TO ONLINE BANKINGOn October 10, 2017 you will be able to log into Online Banking using the First-Time Log In Instructions enclosed. When you log in, you will be asked to register your computer as an added layer of security.

ONLINE BANKING TRANSACTION HISTORYAs part of the conversion to the new Online Banking system, we will be bringing over 90 days of online transaction history. If additional history is needed, please print or save the history prior to October 6, 2017.

DOWNLOAD INDEPENDENT BANK MOBILE APPYour Northstar Bank Mobile Apps will no longer function properly as of October 6, 2017. Download the Independent Bank Mobile App to check your balance, review account history and more. To deposit checks from your mobile device, you will need to re-enroll in Mobile Deposit through the App. Available for Apple and Android™ mobile devices.
