Help Me Understand What Exactly is Compassion? What's compassion? Empathy in my experience, asking for nothing back in return, giving them a bit of your heart, and is showing love and kindness toward others. I am blessed to work with clients as well as their families everyday, also to disperse compassion to those who might not receive it otherwise, or regularly. I recently had the opportunity to visit with a customer who was in Boca Raton, Florida who was recovering from a broken hip. "I came to see you because I care about you, and I wish to see how you might be feeling." I responded. We spoke for over an hour about her ideas on her therapy, the food of the facility, and her plans for once she returned home. As I was leaving, she gave me a huge hug and said, "I am so happy you came to see me!" It made me feel really great that I could show her love and kindness. It made a huge impact along with her, although stopping by to visit was such a little action from me. We believe that empathy makes all the difference. You'll find lots of ways to show empathy and they are able to be as easy as calling to check on someone who we understand is ill, or by seeing him or her if they can be in the hospital. Revealing empathy can not be as difficult as finding the time to actually listen to others. We get so caught up in attempting to "fix" everything, when often times, people just need someone to listen to them, know that they are heard, and that their feelings are validated. I encourage everyone to be the definition of empathy and to demonstrate kindness and love toward everyone you meet. Home Care

Help Me Understand What Exactly is Compassion?

What's compassion? Empathy in my experience, asking for nothing back in return, giving them a bitof your heart, and is showing love and kindness toward others. I am blessed to work with clients aswell as their families everyday, also to disperse compassion to those who might not receive itotherwise, or regularly.

I recently had the opportunity to visit with a customer who was in Boca Raton, Florida who wasrecovering from a broken hip.

"I came to see you because I care about you, and I wish to see how you might be feeling." Iresponded.

We spoke for over an hour about her ideas on her therapy, the food of the facility, and her plans foronce she returned home. As I was leaving, she gave me a huge hug and said, "I am so happy youcame to see me!"

It made me feel really great that I could show her love and kindness. It made a huge impact alongwith her, although stopping by to visit was such a little action from me.

We believe that empathy makes all the difference. You'll find lots of ways to show empathy and theyare able to be as easy as calling to check on someone who we understand is ill, or by seeing him orher if they can be in the hospital. Revealing empathy can not be as difficult as finding the time toactually listen to others. We get so caught up in attempting to "fix" everything, when often times, people just need someone to listen to them, know that they are heard, and that their feelings arevalidated.

I encourage everyone to be the definition of empathy and to demonstrate kindness and love towardeveryone you meet.
