ln the function of accountant, he has been carrying out the following tasks:

Financial ooerations:

o Calculate, organize and execute any financial operation.

. Provide financial reports to state authorities of Azerbaijan (tax, social fund) and the HEKS Sotuh Caucasusoffice.

o Ensure preparation of documentation for the audit

Project adm inistration

o Maintain an appropriate filing system (physically, electronically on server) for the project to accommodateall aspects of the HEKS-EPER work

o Ensure the proper procurement, use and maintenance of equipment and office supplies; prepare, updateand report Inventory.

. Prepare contracts (employment contracts for staff, service contracts for consultants, rent agreements) as

well as grant business development plans and contracts for dairies, feedmills and veterinarians.

r Supervise the implementation of grant agreements with enterprises.

. Advise partner organisations in the preparation and monitoring of grant agreements with disaster riskreduction committees.

In the function of coordinator, jeyhun Mirzayev has been carrying out the following tasks:

Monitoring

. Prepare a monitoring concept and manual, which follows the requirements of the outcome monitoringconcept of the Swiss Development Cooperation in the Soutch Caucasus.

. Plan, implement and continuously improve a monitoring system, which tracks impacts and resultsachieved at beneficiary (smallscale farmers) and target group level (dairies, input and service provid-ers such as feedmills, veterinary services)

. Organise and carry out baseline studies and regular update- surveys among beneficiaries and stakehold-ers, process data and analyse information, thereby figuring out attribution.

Prod uction faci liation

. Contribute to the concept of a M4P compliant grant program in the project, assist the manager in the

selection of target enterprises, train their key staff in business administration, including lT applica-

ilons.

o Plan, carry out and assess small projects like a hotline of veterinary services.

Rural finance

. Participate and contribute to strategic planning

. Support planning and implementation and monitoring of mandates and direct interventions of the pro-

ject (access to rural finance

. Arrange for participatory assessment and evaluation with Partner organisations and beneficiaries,

Mr. Mirzayev has made important contributions to the project; in the startup phase when preparing templates,

contracts or procuring items. He handed over the accountancy after 1 5 months in an irreproachable state. Mov-

ing thereafter towards coordination and facilitation, he proofed to work autonomously, organised and result

oriented. Having developing thereby several initiatives, gave proof of his enagement and commitment for devel-

opment work. His contributions to strategic planning and occasional project representations qualify him also for

executive functions.

Jeyhun Mirzayev is a team player who supported all his colleagues in any professional situations. His support in lT

applications was outstanding.

Mr. Mirzaev leaves the project on HEKS- EPER notification, when the project came to an end in March 201 5.
