Welcometailgater toby bbq cafe With 26 mobile trailers across the country and 40 years combined experience in the restaurant business, partners Craig Cassioppi and Ken Wright were looking for a high traffic location to test their bricks and mortar concept. They found just the right spot in their new Place St. Charles location.

“Like most New Orleanians, I have a deep love for food. We are thrilled to be a part of Place St. Charles and look forward to serving the tenants and workers in the building” – Craig Cassioppi

Tailgater Toby BBQ Cafe serves authentic barbeque cuisine, with great sauces (including their signature Tailgater Toby BBQ Blitz) and delicious sides. The lunch menu includes all the traditional Southern flavors expected at a BBQ café and more. All of their menu items are priced between $6-$10. The true taste of outdoor BBQ – right in your office!

Try the classic Pulled Pork Sandwich or St. Louis Style Spare Ribs... or a new twist, the BBQ Shrimp Salad or the Smoked Chicken Caesar Salad, served with your choice of BBQ sauce and two sides. Tra-ditional side dishes like baked beans, mac & cheese, Creole potato salad share the menu with lighter fare such as grilled vegetables and seasonal fruit salad.

Tailgater Toby is planning several Fall Specials including a Half BBQ Chicken, BBQ Pot Pie, Smoked Brisket Shepard’s Pie, and BBQ Chicken Empanadas. Very soon they’ll kick off their Cookie Happy Hour featuring freshly baked cookies, ice cold milk, and non-alcoholic “cocktails” from 1:30-2:30pm ...their way of beating the afternoon workday doldrums.

Available for catering in the building and at home, they will start “Tailgating at Home” with everything needed to have a successful tailgating party. Order 48 hours in advance and pick up your “Tailgating Pack” in the afternoon. Pack includes two meats, two sides, buns, sauce, and cookies. Pricing starts at $10 per person.
