Hearthstone ELC’S Summer Safari - 2019

AFRICAN SAFARI will be our theme for Hearthstone ELC’s 2019 Summer Camp. Students will learn about the culture, animals, etc., of Africa, while at the same time learning that GOD IS GOOD! Two former ELC students will come and share about their trip to Africa!

Discovery Center Assemblies, Stampede Sports, Magic Shows, Awesome Art Adventures, and Hungry Herd Café are only some of the exciting adventures planned for our students.

STAMPEDE SPORTSMiss Erin will lead the classes in fun and challenging games that reinforce the weekly Bible truth.

HUNGRY HERD CAFÉ Students will join Miss Jenny to create (and eat!) a special treat that helps students remember that GOD IS GOOD!

BERTA’S BIBLE ADVENTURES

Students will join Miss Berta in our newly renovated Resource Room to learn how God took care of the Israelites and how He will take care of us! We will learn that when life is unfair, scary, sad and changing…GOD IS STILL GOOD!

DISCOVERY CENTER

Discovery Center in Rockford will come to Hearthstone ELC this summer for two presentations – CAPTIVATING CHEMISTRY and FASCINATING PHYSICS!

MISS AMY’S AWESOME ART ADVENTURES

Our talented Miss Amy is planning fun and exciting art projects for our students to create in our SAFARI ART STUDIO (also known as the gym!)

TRAVELING WORLD OF REPTILES AT ELC

Students will be able to see and learn about a variety of reptiles.

CHALLENGER SPACE CENTER, FORT MCHENRY PARK, KINGSTON LANES, LIPPOLD PARK MINI-GOLF are some of the field trips planned for Classrooms #5, #6 and #7.

Papa Murphy’s Pizza, Gary’s Magic Show, Mr. Steve’s Musical Show, Miss Sandy’s Farm Animals, and Movie/Popcorn Day are some of the planned in-house field trips for all students.
