TARGET AUDIENCE This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of Electrophysiologists, Cardiologists, Primary Care Physicians, EP Lab Technicians, Allied Health Professionals, Fellows, Residents, and Medical Students. LEARNING OBJECTIVES 1. Describe the pathophysiology of Atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia, mortality benefits with ablation and the recent techniques and outcomes of AF and VT ablation. 2. Describe eligibility and outcomes for left atrial appendage occlusion devices. 3. Describe sudden cardic death in relation to genetic channelopathies. 4. Describe the recent advances in pacing relating to His bundle, leadless pacing and Biventricular pacing. FELLOWS POSTER COMPETITION & JEOPARDY Fellow Poster Competition Residents and Fellows can submit abstracts related to heart rhythm disorders. Abstracts already presented at national conferences can also be submitted. Abstracts will be judged and those with the highest score will be awarded. Submit your abstract at heartrhythmfocus.org. Fellow Jeopardy Cardiology and EP fellows can participate in this jeopardy. Team consists of 3 participants from each institution. The final team to win the jeopardy will be awarded.
