HEALTHY U WELLNESS CHALLENGE HEALTHY HEALTHY U HEALTHY YOU Log your points every Sunday before 11:59 PM @ www.pdx.edu/recreation/log-my-points Drank 8 glasses of water per day five or more days per week Ate 5 or more servings of fruits and vegetables per day five days per week Ate a healthy breakfast (protein, carbohydrates, fats, low in sugar) five or more days per week No sweets (candy, ice cream, cookies, cake, pie) five or more days per week No soda for a week Instead of eating out, took a home-packed meal to work or school every work day for a week No more than one alcoholic beverage per day for a week (none if under 21) Lost 1-2 lbs. of weight this week Designated a driver No smoking for a week Practiced safe sex during every sexual encounter Got 7+ hours of sleep per night five or more days per week Brushed teeth for 2-3 minutes twice a day and flossed five or more days per week Washed hands with soap after every trip to the restroom Wrote in a journal five or more days per week Read a book for pleasure Meditated 15+ minutes five or more days per week Engaged in a spiritual practice of your choice Volunteered for an hour for the cause of your choice Biked, walked, or took public transportation to school or work five or more days per week Used own shopping bag every trip to the store Had an annual exam or physical MONDAY TO SUNDAY HEALTHY HABITS 1 Point awarded for each of the following wellness endeavors. Additional Exercise will not be awarded additional points. One point per 30 minutes of aerobic activity (running, brisk walking, bicycling, cardio machines, etc.) One point per 30 minutes of strength training Two points per Group X fitness class (does not have to be through Campus Rec) EVENT PARTICIPATION 5 points per Healthy U Wellness Challenge event or program, including weekly Lunch and Learn sessions, physical activity programming, and other campus events listed on the wellness calendar on the Healthy U Wellness Challenge website.
