INCREASED

REBATES

AVAILABLE!

To help deliver quality products at a competitive price, Leahy/IFP has increased the rebates back to members on all

Carbotrol products (as listed to the right). Rebates as high as $5/per case are automatically returned quarterly to all

participants in the MCR Program purchasing

through US Foods.

If you’re using another brand, compare the

color, quality, taste and yield of the Carbotrol line. Typically, you get what you

pay for — cheap price = cheap product. With Carbotrol, you get a superior product

with a competitive price, thanks to the

rebates returned quarterly.

For more information on the entire line

available from Leahy/IFP, contact Michael

Lojkutz at [email protected].

Contract #4082

“Adult Grilled Cheese”

The classic grilled cheese sandwich has been around for years and years. It was affordable, simple and easy

for Americans to make so it became a staple in American Culture. An “Adult Version” of the American Grilled

Cheese has hit mainstream with restaurants, food trucks, aspiring chefs and home cooks redefining this

childhood classic. Gourmet cheeses such as gouda, fontina, gruyere, aged cheddar, and havarti are sandwiched

between artisan breads especially Rich’s Panini Loaves. Other unique additions to the “adult grilled cheese”

include slices of premium meats, sautéed fruits and vegetables, and innovative spreads such as apricot

jalapeno relish, chipotle pesto, and compound butters. Several factors have contributed to the comeback and

exponential growth of “Adult Grilled Cheeses” in the marketplace: Nostalgic appeal, ease of preparation and

the skies the limit with customization. Operators across all segments, from major chains to independents to

food trucks, have recognized the growing demand for this sandwich.
