Everything is tailored to fully reflect your business operation needs and comply with both the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999.

competent personIt is a requirement under the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 to have a designated competent person. We can act as the “Competent Person” for your organisation. Our designated competent person service provides you with access to a qualified and accredited Health and Safety practi-tioner 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

on site auditAn on-site audit of Health and Safety allows an organisation to understand where it is in terms of safety. Our Health and Safety experts will attend site and can conduct an assessment in a variety of formats that can measure the performance of your operation or focus on a specific element of an activity. The audit can examine all aspects of Health and Safety Management within the company and the accompanying report will define any actions required.

general consultancy and adviceYour designated consultant will provide you with general consultancy and advice including any new legislative changes. They will be available to speak to at any time on Health and Safety matters, spending time on site if required at your convenience.

risk assessmentsRisk assessments can never be too good. We can write and produce appropriate, thorough and detailed risk assessments for your business, which will incorporate safe systems of work.

manual handling assessmentsWe can complete manual handling risk assessments and audits in line with the Manual Handling Operations Regula-tions 1992. The format for all our documentation has been specifically designed to encompass the best practices available and incorporates elements of the HSE’s MAC and ART tools.

fire risk assessmentsWe can carry out a legally compliant Fire Risk Assessment of your premises in order to help you meet your obliga-tions under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. Our qualified fire risk assessors are experienced in a wide range of buildings and we provide detailed and through fire risk assess-ments based on the PAS79 model.
